Every where we looked - foxtails and infection.
You will notice how thin she is. She is currently 50 pounds and should weigh between 60 and 65.
Dr. Patterson sent Hattie's foster parents home with antibiotics to try and help with kennel cough and to try and fight the infections in her body -- and with instructions on how to care for her open wounds and sores. Unfortunately it looks like Hattie will have to go back to Dr. Patterson for yet another session of surgical removal of foxtails.
In addition to thanking Kathy Arnold I would like to thank Dr. Bradley and Madeline Patterson and vet tech Glenda for taking so much of their 'after work' time to help Hattie.
